Learn Vedic astrology — from charts, not from slides
Most people who study astrology can recite the rules and still freeze in front of a real chart. 96Astro Academy is built the other way round: every principle arrives attached to a case study, and every calculation you are taught to read is one the software puts in front of you. The path, in the order it should be walked
Astrology goes wrong when specialisations are taken before the foundation. This is the sequence the academy teaches in, and the reason for each step.
- Foundations. The zodiac, the nine grahas, the twelve bhavas, how a chart is cast, and what an ayanamsa is. Nothing assumed.
- Parashari, properly. House lordships, functional nature, aspects, yogas and the strength calculations — shadbala, bhava bala, ashtakavarga — that separate a planet that promises from one that delivers.
- Divisional charts. D9 for strength and marriage, D10 for career, and the discipline of confirming every D1 judgement in the relevant varga before saying it aloud.
- Timing. Vimshottari to the level the question needs, then Yogini, Char and the others. A chart that cannot be timed is an opinion.
- Specialise. KP for decisive answers, Jaimini for karakas and rashi dashas, BNN for fast event reading, Lal Kitab for remedies.
- Practise on real charts. Case studies, supervised readings, and the habit of checking a prediction against what actually happened.

The classical system: houses, lordships, yogas, dashas and strength. Everything else is read on top of this.
KP · Krishnamurti Paddhati
Sub-lords, cuspal significators, ruling planets and horary — for questions that need a yes, a no and a date.
Jaimini
Chara karakas, arudha padas, karakamsha and the rashi dashas, including Nirayana Shoola for longevity work.
Bhrigu Nandi Nadi
Jupiter-led progression and conjunction reading — minimal arithmetic, fast event identification.
Lal Kitab
Its own house logic and its own remedies, taught as a distinct system rather than folded into Parashari.

Why learning on the software matters
You read what you will actually use
The ashtakavarga table, the KP significator grid and the D-chart set you are taught on are the ones a client sitting opposite you will be shown.
Arithmetic stops being the obstacle
Hand-computing a shadbala teaches the formula once. Having it computed lets you spend the hour on what it means, which is the part that takes years.
Case studies are reproducible
Every chart discussed in class can be cast on your own screen and explored afterwards, rather than existing only as a screenshot.

Common questions
Do I need any background to start?
No. The foundation course begins with the zodiac, the grahas and the bhavas and assumes nothing. What it asks for is consistency — astrology is learned by reading charts repeatedly, not by finishing a syllabus.
Which systems are taught?
Parashari as the foundation, then KP, Jaimini, Bhrigu Nandi Nadi and Lal Kitab as specialisations, plus practical modules such as muhurta, matching and remedies.
Is the certificate recognised?
The academy is ISO 9001:2015 certified and issues a certificate on completion. Recognition in astrology is reputational rather than statutory, so the more useful measure is whether you can read a chart in front of a client — which is what the case-study format is for.
Are classes live or recorded?
Both. Sessions run live and are recorded, which matters in a subject where one calculation explained once is rarely enough.
Is the software included?
Students learn on the 96Astro platform itself, so what you are taught to read is what you will use in practice.
Can I study from outside India?
Yes. Courses are online and students attend from across the world; recordings mean a difficult time zone is not a barrier.
